OLVLimits Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how OLVLimits ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you visit, use our services, make a purchase from (the "Site"), or otherwise communicate with us (collectively, the "Services"). By using and accessing any of the Services, you agree to the collection, use, and disclosure of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

  1. Acceptance of Terms

In order to request and use the OLVLimits Services, you need to provide your name, email address and delivery address to us. Any Personal Information that is submitted or collected during your use of the OLVLimits Services will be subject to this Privacy Policy. By visiting the Website or using the OLVLimits Services in any manner, you acknowledge that you fully accept the practices and policies outlined here, and you consent to our collection, use, and transfer of your information in the following ways. If you do not accept the Privacy Policy as a whole you must immediately stop using the Website and OLVLimits Services.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, including to reflect changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.

  1. What We Collect & How We Use It

3.1 Websites: When you visit the Website, you are not required to provide any personal information. However, when you contact us via the chat function in the Website, when you sign up to receive information from us, or when you sign up to receive and use the OLVLimits Services, you are required to provide some Personal Information about yourself, and we may collect some Navigational Information, in accordance with our Cookies Policy below. 

3.2 Personal Information: “Personal Information” refers to any information that you choose to submit to us that identifies you personally. This includes, for example, your name, email address, address, phone number, date of birth and other information about you. This can also include information about you that is publicly available, information that is available about you online via sites like Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter, and Google. In addition to other uses mentioned in this Privacy Policy, we also may use your Personal Information to:

  • Improve your browsing experience by personalizing the Website;
  • Send you information we think may be of interest to you by email or other means;
  • Link the analytics information we store to Personal Information you submit to us; and
  • Contact you for marketing purposes related to our business, which we think may be of interest to you.

3.3 Navigation Information: This refers to information about your computer, device, visits to the Website, and logins to the OLVLimits Services, including your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visits, pages viewed, and heatmapping. We use Navigation Information to operate and improve the Website and Services, and may also use it to provide you with personalized information about OLVLimits. Due to the nature of what is being collected, it is possible that Navigation Information may include Personal Information. 

3.4 Service Providers : The Website and Services integrate some services provided by third parties. We may share some of your information with these service providers in order for them to provide their services, including removing repetitive information from prospect lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance, conducting customer and/or user profiling, and providing customer service. As such, the terms and privacy policies of these service providers may apply to you as well, in particular: Google Analytics, Google AdWords, Google Tag Manager, Google reCAPTCHA, Klaviyo, and Shopify. Acceptance of these service provider terms is required to access the Website and Services. Further information is set out below in our Cookies Policy. OLVLimits seeks to conclude data processing agreements with each service provider before third party services are implemented into the Website or OLVLimits Services in order to ensure that your Personal Information is used, stored, and transferred securely and in accordance with European Union law. Even so, OLVLimits does not control or assume any responsibility for the content or practices of these service providers, including their data storage and transfer policies, and this Privacy Policy does not apply to these features, which are governed by their own policies and terms. 

3.5 External Websites: The Website and Services may contain links to other websites run by third parties. Our provision of these links does not amount to our endorsement of these other websites, nor their content, owners, or practices. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those other websites, which are governed by their own terms and policies. OLVLimits does not control or assume any responsibility for the content or practices of these other websites. 

2.6  Promotional actions: We may ask for personal data in relation to promotional/ marketing activities, or actions. OLVLimits uses this data to execute the actual promotion, to inform price-winners and/ or participants or to measure response. The data collected are subject to this privacy policy. 

2.8 Information of Minors: The Website and OLVLimits Services are not intended for or targeted toward children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any information about children under 13. If you believe that we have collected information about Minors, please contact us at so that we can delete the information. 

2.9 We Don’t Sell Personal Information: We will never sell your Personal Information to a third party, we promise. 

 3. Retention & Security of Personal Information 

3.1 Retention of Personal Information: We retain any Personal Information that you provide to us so long as we consider it to be necessary, after which time we will securely delete the information. We will also delete any of your Personal Information from our servers upon your request, as detailed in OLVLimits Opt-Out & Anti-Spam Policy below. 

3.2 Security of Personal Information: Our servers are housed in secure and controlled environments administered by Shopify, which are protected from unauthorized access: Personal Information is encrypted when it is collected via the Website and Services and/or is transmitted to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Policy. 

3.3 Transfer of Personal Information OLVLimits is compliant with European Union law and maintains strong data protection and privacy controls to protect your Personal Information and ensure its security during international transfer and any periods of storage in foreign locations. As an international company, we may transfer and access Personal Information from around the world, including between and from within the European Union and the United States. No matter where you or your data are located, this Privacy Policy shall apply, even if we transfer Personal Information to other countries. 

3.4 Disclosure of your Personal Information We reserve the right to use or disclose your Personal Information if we are required by law or if we reasonably determine that use or disclosure of your Personal Information is necessary to protect our rights, operations, or users; comply with a law, court order, or legal process; or perform our contractual obligations. Additionally, in the event of a reorganization, merger, or sale we may transfer any and all Personal Information we collect to the relevant party. 

4. Opt-Out & Anti-Spam Policy 

4.1 Review, Change & Remove Personal Information If you provide us with your Personal Information, you have the following rights with respect to that information to:

  • Review the Personal Information that you have supplied to us;
  • Request a correction of any errors or change of outdated information or omissions in the Personal Information that you have supplied to us
  • Request that your Personal Information not be used to contact you;
  • Request that your Personal Information be removed from our solicitation list(s);
  • Request that your Personal Information be deleted from our records; or
  • Opt out of being solicited by OLVLimits.

Please note that the use, storage, and transfer some of your Personal Information may be necessary for the purposes of our relationship. If we receive a request to delete Personal Information that is categorized as being necessary, we will contact you and work with you to find a reasonable solution.

 4.2 Unsubscribe from our Communications 

You may unsubscribe from receiving our marketing communications at any time by clicking on the "unsubscribe" link located on the bottom of our emails, contacting us by email at, or contacting us by post at OLVLimits, Ridderspoorweg 135, 1032LL, The Netherlands. Please note that our customers and users cannot opt out of receiving product and transactional emails related to their account with us. 

5. Cookies Policy 

A cookie is a small text file that a website or online service saves on your computer or mobile device when you visit the website or use the service.
